Matching Gifts

If your employer has a matching gift program, you may be able to double - or even triple - your donation to Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County (CAP-HC). It's an easy way for your donation to help even more people with lower incomes build stability and lift themselves out of poverty.

You can increase the impact of your donation in 3 easy steps:

  1. Make a donation to CAP-HC. If you recently made a donation to CAP-HC, skip to step 2.
  2. Check with your employer to see if your contribution can be matched.
  3. If your contribution can be matched, follow your employer's instructions and select CAP-HC to receive the matching gift. If specific instructions are not available, contact your human resources or business office for more information.

Thank you for your support!

CAP-HC is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit as defined by the Internal Revenue Code. Donations may qualify as deductible under IRS regulations; please consult with your qualified tax representative for details.

MORE ABOUT CAP-HC

Established in 1986, CAP-HC creates services, programs, and partnerships that serve Hennepin County's residents with lower incomes, creating opportunities for them to stabilize and empowering them to become self-sufficient. These resources address the specific factors that cause and reinforce poverty in Hennepin County, increase economic stability, and help individuals and families lift themselves out of poverty.

For many, CAP-HC is their last stop before power and heat disconnection, foreclosure, homelessness or bankruptcy. For others, it's a place to learn how to buy a home, create a budget, or find a job. Your donation provides vital support for our work in the fight against poverty.
