Employment Readiness Program

The Employment Readiness Program assists Hennepin County residents with lower incomes in attaining living-wage jobs and removing employment barriers. The program includes resume support, interview readiness training, finding job leads, maintaining employment, and more.

Eligibility and Application Information

To be eligible for the Employment Readiness Program, applicants must:

  • Live in Hennepin County
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Able and willing to work a full time job
  • Have household income at or below 125% Federal Poverty Level (FPL) guidelines - see chart below

The following documentation is required to complete the application process:

  • Proof of address
  • Proof of household size
  • Last 30 days of income for all adults in household
  • Program-specific application forms
