Win a Kitchen Remodel

Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County's (CAP-HC)'s partner, Renewal Experts Construction, is generously donating a kitchen remodel valued up to $20,000 to one lucky family. You could be entertaining in a brand-new kitchen this December! 

Kitchen Remodel Details

One eligible CAP-HC client family will be chosen at random to win a kitchen remodel valued from $15,000 to $20,000! The remodel includes cabinetry, appliances, countertops and a sink fixture. Renewal Experts Construction has generously donated this kitchen remodel so that the winning family can enjoy their new kitchen by mid-December 2024. 

To ensure the remodel project is completed quickly and within the maximum budget, the winning family will have limited color choices for cabinets and counters. The material for the counters will be granite. Appliance colors will be non-negotiable, though they will likely be stainless steel. Painting the kitchen as part of the remodel is dependent on the layout of the kitchen and adjacent walls. If the kitchen is painted, the winning family will have limited color options to choose from.  

Timeline

• Now through October 25 - Eligible client families enter to win a kitchen remodel from Renewal Experts Construction
• No later than October 30 - The winning family is notified they've won via email
• Early-to-mid November - The kitchen remodel project begins
• Mid-December - Kitchen remodel complete

Eligibility

To be eligible for the kitchen remodel, entrants must:

• Live in Hennepin County
• Own the home having the kitchen remodeled
• Have at least 3 family members living in the home. The winning family must submit proof of household size for verification. 
• Have been a CAP-HC client any time from Jan. 1, 2022 through Sept. 30, 2024
• Have household income that is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level Income Guidelines - see chart below. The winning family must submit proof of income for verification. 
• Agree to utilize your new kitchen to entertain family and friends at least once during the month of December. 
• Sign a media release giving CAP-HC, Renewal Experts Contruction, and a third-party content creation team permission to remodel the kitchen, to video and photograph the remodel process, to conduct interviews with the family, to video and photograph the December entertaining opportunity, and gives CAP-HC permission to share these assets in CAP-HC communications. 
• Not be a current CAP-HC staff or board member
• Other restrictions may apply
