Our Website Got a Glow-Up
A New Look and a Better Experience
For most of 2024, we at Community Action Partnership of Hennepin County (CAP-HC) dedicated ourselves to improving the way we connect with you online. Thanks to insights from key stakeholders, including 181 clients, we identified the most important website upgrades needed to better serve our community. After months of thoughtful evaluation, we’re thrilled to share our new and improved website! The site officially launched on February 4, bringing with it a fresh, modern design that makes accessing essential resources easier than ever.
What’s New?
Our goal was to create a website that is more user-friendly, accessible, and informative—a digital space that truly reflects the needs of the Hennepin County residents we serve. Here’s what’s changed:
- Improved Navigation – We heard loud and clear that our clients want easier access to program information. Finding program eligibility requirements and application forms is now more intuitive and streamlined. Get where you need to go in fewer clicks and with less scrolling!
- Multilingual Support – We recognize that people from many different backgrounds live in the community we serve. With that in mind, we’ve added translation options to our website. To switch from English to one of nine other languages including Hmong, Somali, and Spanish, click on the U.S. flag icon in the lower right corner.
- Enhanced Accessibility – We prioritized mobile-friendly design and ADA-compliant accessibility features to ensure that all users, including those with disabilities, can navigate the site with ease.
- Faster, More Secure Experience – Digital technology and security changes fast! Our new website will evolve with those changes, improving site speed, security, and overall functionality.
